During preparation, a starch slurry is first pre-formulated, followed by enzymatic hydrolysis using amylase. Yeast strains are then introduced for fermentation to form the starch particle core.
Subsequently, the starch particle core is mixed with high-activity polyether polyols, and reacts with isocyanate compounds to produce oil-absorbing porous microspheres.
